Printing a 3-D Car!

We are pretty sure that everyone have heard about 3-D printing, this technology which is famous nowadays are being explored by technology leader. From what we have seen recently, we know that the possibilities with 3-D printing are endless ranging from artificial limbs to smartphone cases. This technology recently found its way to the cars industry in the form of an Electric Vehicle, Local Motors Strati EV, which is roughly 75% printed car according to the manufacturer!



Looking at how technology is advancing in the 3-D printing world means that cars will be easily customizable, it would also mean a lot for the manufacturers since they will be able to meet the needs of a more diverse customer base.     i think that the printing by 3-D will save time and efforts for designers who design the cars , But it's hard to make every one to design his own car because people the don't know about the rules and specifications that is required from the government and the rules that the professionals designer take for makes cars.

      No doubt that 3D printing is a great technology to help the manufacturers to improve the streamline of the future cars in order to achieve high level of customer satisfaction which leads to higher profit and organization success.
      In my opinion, I'd love to print my own car, because I think it is a cool technology that deserves to try.

  3. It will be amazing to customize your own car and print it . i think it will lead to a new generation of technology , and it might change our way in using cars.

    But , i have a question, what materials are used to print a 3D car ?
